Ihsan's Horrific Fall

Yup, my brother Ihsan did it again! He caused yet another stir in the household and this time round, it was on the morning of 1st Syawal itself, mind you! Unknowingly, Ihsan couldn't sleep that morning and whilst everybody in the house were busy doing some last minute preparations, Ihsan fell down at 12.30 a.m - hitting the side of the bed in the guest room. Panicked upon hearing the loud, excruciating wail (Ihsan is known for his 'drama', by the way) AND blood gushing like God-knows-what, my parents rushed him to a 24 hr clinic nearby, only to be referred to KK Hospital by the GP there. Well, to cut the story short, Ihsan was anaesthetised, his wound stitched up and soon after, our sleepy Daddy & Mummy had to wait for yet another hour for his condition to stabilise. As a result, our groggy parents managed to step into our abode ONLY at 4 a.m. - when everyone else was already in dreamland. Sighs! Talk about a great way to celebrate 1st Syawal, huh?

The moral of the story? To the kids out there: PLEASE.... PLEASE try to sleep by 9 p.m, hor! Don't ever THINK of surprising your parents by doing stunts of any nature, ESPECIALLY NOT on special occasions, hokay? :)
