T/P/J/C HOMECOMING DINNER

"It was such a disappointment! TRULY A DISAPPOINTMENT!" ~ The last I heard, Mummy was complaining incessantly about last weekend. You see, Mummy and her 8 Sahabatz went to T/P/J/C's homecoming dinner, hoping to catch a glimpse of their respective teachers, wishing to reminisce about the good old days in T/P/J/C. True enough Mummy had a splendid time with her 8 Sahabatz, as always. However, she can't say the same for the food, the IT presentation as well as the programme for the night. As educators themselves, I think Mummy and her 8 Sahabatz are becoming more and more critical by the day. Hmmmm, will I become as such when I'm older, Mum?

OK, back to Mummy and her 8 Sahabatz. Being friends for 17 years, the 8 Sahabatz have gone through A WHOLE LOT together. They were there for each other, be it the good times or the bad times. They laughed together, cried together, studied together (believe it or not, they went to the SAME sec school, jc and uni), shopped together, gossiped together and even slept together (hmm, somehow THIS doesn't sound right huh?). They are SO close that some of them are starting to LOOK like one another ~ yikes, that's scary!

Anyway, the 8 Sahabatz ALWAYS seem to act as if they haven't met for ages, despite the fact that they make it a point to meet up at least once a term. Why a term one may ask? Well, because on any other days, 7 of the 8 Sahabatz will be busy marking papers, setting tests, preparing lesson plans, scolding pupils, attending to parents, going for meetings, attending courses & seminars, being involved in CCAs ~ (*TAKES A BREATHER*) ~ u know, the fundamentals of being an educator nowadays ~ basically, being in school for 12 hours.

With so many happenings in their respective institutions and so many motherhood wins & woes to share, it is no wonder that Mummy & her 8 Sahabatz act like giggly young ladies every time they meet. Er Mummy, was that why U hanged out at Simpang Bedok after the disappointing homecoming dinner at T/P/J/C last weekend and came home only after midnight? Tsk tsk tsk....
