Initially, I can understand why Mummy was missing in action on weekdays ~ her duty calls for it. But on weekends? Does she have to work on weekends too? What accounts for her absence last weekend, for instance?
The last I heard from Aunty Dibz & Aunty Tiq, they, together with Mummy and Daddy had a whale of time at Awallah Dondang last weekend. I am not sure whether it has got anything to do with Dondang Sayang, but I was informed that it was an amazing showcase of talents from SP, NYP, IJC, NYJC and JMPS. Mummy's students from B/G/S/S were also involved, so I suppose Mummy was there to lend her support (and perhaps to spend some quality time with Daddy as well, considering that it has been quite some time since they managed to do so).
Mummy, Daddy and Aunty Dibz were pretty much awed and fascinated by the performances of JMPS students in particular. A certain 'kecik-kecik cili padi' boy, whose powerful voice captured the attention of the audience, was heard singing a rendition of 'Kasihmu Laila' by Umbara during the show ~ much to the surprise of everyone. On that note, Mummy imagined the day when she would be amongst the proud parents, watching her babies perform in such musicals.

Hmmm, but the question remains : Why wasn't I brought along to watch the show? Has mummy learnt her lesson after I fell asleep TWICE during the Disney Cars movie and the Sesame Street Show? Does it mean that she will NEVER bring me to any more shows in the future? Hey, don't blame me for having sleepy eyes, hokay?
By the way Mummy, I have learnt it the hard way. Never will I doze off in the middle of ANY shows again. Hopefully, by saying this I get the chance to watch other shows and get pointers from these performers in the future. Hehe.... Afterall, I did make an attempt to stay awake when I accompanied you for the Brillante rehearsal at Kallang Theatre, didn't I?

Er, just for the record Mummy, I have been practicing singing 'Majulah Singapura' and some other Arabic Nursery Rhymes that I learnt from the childcare. Just in case Mummy, just in case...
